postheadericon The Latest =)

Hey everyone, so this week was a bit of a busy week. We had three cake orders and 20 cupcakes to do, and the bake sale but I already mentioned that to you guys on the last blog. So the cakes we had this week were fairly simple but like any cake, they took some time. First we have the Three Stooges cake, this cake was for my grandfather's birthday ( Happy Birthday Grandpa) and it was my first time making him a cake and it was my first time working with a butter cream drawing so it might not be the greatest cake but for my first time working with this I think it came out pretty good.
For the second cake we had an order from a company titled Area Agency on Aging and we made it a 2 tier fondant cake with a butter cream drawing of their logo, now personally I do not think this was one of our best but I was happy with the fondant work. As you can see in the picture we have the logo they sent us and the logo we made, so let us know how we did your comments are always appreciated. For the last cake we had an order for a 21st birthday. Our customer loves chocolate so we made a triple chocolate cake with a bunch of chocolate candies everywhere, just by looking at the cake you can tell its very chocolaty. This cake was a last minuet order so we were in a bit of a rush to do it, but somehow we got it done.
A special thanks to Adam and his fantastic fondant work!!
Last but not least we had some cupcakes to do also.
There was a total of 20 cupcakes with the flavors
Wild Berry
Chocolate
Lemon
Pistachio

The Lemon and Pistachio are the flower ones. My favorite ones this time were the Wild Berry ones they smelled so good mmmmm and its not in the pictures but just as we were about to deliver them we put some strawberries and blueberries on top of each one! So it was yummy! So thats what happened this week, soon we have an order of cupcakes to do for a church and of course soon there will be another blog to go along with that. One more thing I wanted to let you guys in on. There is this great company called Little Ribbons who does baby shower arrangements/pins to go along with you special celebration. She does all kinds of designs and very inexpensive as well. So if you are planning a baby shower and need some great pins contact her by clicking the face book button below.
So that it for now and your comments are greatly appreciated, send us your feedback and ideas and challenges!! Also dont forget to place your orders! Slots are filling up fast!
